Slightly closed after opening and discrete to the nose, when tasted this Côte de Léchet owns a very pronounced floral character, all-white flowers.
The silex, characteristic of a mineral wine, is followed by an aftertaste of candied fruits. This wine, slightly closed after opening, may be decantered before tasting. Estimated peak for tasting in 2022.
Our 1er Cru Côte de Léchet will go perfectly with shellfish as well as a subtle fish like sea bream or bass. Best served chilled at 12°C.
The Côte de Léchet is exposed South-East and dominates the village of Milly. It's 38% of hills in full sun exposure, the poor and very rocky underground results in small production and wines with great minerality. Chablis at its purest.
